Community Law & Mediation is staffed by a team of dedicated solicitors, administration staff and volunteers under the guidance of our Chief Executive Officer, Rose Wall.
Rose has volunteered and worked in the field of Access to Justice and Human Rights for 9 years. She previously held the position of Managing Solicitor of the Mercy Law Resource Centre. She holds an LL.B. and LL.M. from the University of Dublin, Trinity College and is a member of the Law Society of Ireland, Human Rights Committee. Rose has previously lectured for the Law Society of Ireland and Griffith College Dublin. Rose reports directly to Community Law & Mediation's Board of Directors, which provide guidance on the direction and development of the service and meet every six weeks.
The Board of Directors is headed by our Chairperson, Gerry Donnelly. Gerry has 37 years of experience of public administration in a number of Government Departments. He is a former Assistant Secretary in the Department of Jobs Enterprise & Innovation and has also served overseas with the Irish Representation to the European Union in Brussels. He has a record of involvement with the voluntary and community sector. He is the founder and Trustee of the Indian Orphanage Appeal, a charity dedicated to the support of orphaned and abandoned children in the Palna Orphanage in Delhi. He is a Board Member of Community Awareness of Drugs (CAD) and serves as a member of the Audit Committee of the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland. He is a member and Company Secretary of the Senior Civil Service Association.
Other members of the Board of Directors are Gerard Durcan SC, Declan Cahill, Diane Duggan, Catherine Ghent, Ronan Farren and Paul Rogers.

CLM Limerick is based in Limerick Social Services Centre, Henry St, Limerick and is managed by Caroline Keane, Solicitor. CLM Limerick employs a part time Administrator, Lourde Quigley. Advice clinics are also provided by Jacqueline Murray, volunteer solicitor. CLM Limerick is governed by CLM’s Board of Directors. CLM Limerick has an Advisory Committee, which is composed of residents, members of community groups and other key stakeholders, and which provides guidance on the strategic direction and development of the service.
Our Mediation service is also based in Community Law & Mediation's head office is also based in Community Law & Mediation's head office along with our Education service.
Our Education service is run by our Community Education and Volunteer Coordinator, Ros Palmer alongside a part time administrator as listed above.
