Taking an Equal Status case to the WRC:  Discrimination in accessing goods and services.

This course is aimed at advocates working with people who might suffer discrimination in accessing goods and services.  Legal aid is not available to people who want to challenge discrimination in accessing goods and services.  This means that people have to represent themselves in the Workplace Relations Commission, sometimes with the assistance of advocates. 

The main outcomes would be,

  • To build your capacity as an advocate or information provider ,
  • Outline the law on taking a case to the Workplace Relations Commission.
  • Give practical tips on taking a case to the Workplace Relations Commission.

Fee
The cost of this course is €150.00 per person (10% discount for CLM Members).
