What is the best way to protect employer and employee against a breakdown in the employment relationship, which can sometimes lead to costly and protracted litigation? What happens when things go wrong and either party terminates the employment relationship, either fairly or unfairly? 

This 1 day course will cover

  • Employment legislative framework
  • Grievance procedures
  • Disciplinary procedures
  • Bullying and harassment
  • Dismissal and redundancy

This course will also focus on the area of disciplinary procedures by using practical examples of cases from the Work Place Relations Commission (WRC). The course is aimed at those working in a managerial position or as a director/member of a board within the community & voluntary sector.
