Community Law & Mediation offers a number of internships and work placements throughout the calendar year.

The Dave Ellis Internship was set up in 2008 and runs from September to June each year.  It is so named after Dave Ellis, who was a founding member and driving force behind CLM having served as a Community Law Officer with Northside Community Law Centre for over twenty years. Dave died in 2007 after a short illness. As part of this internship, interns assist solicitors with their casework, attend court and work in the area of legal policy and community education.  They also assist with our Casebase project.

We also offer a number of shorter Summer internships and work with Universities as part of their Clinical Legal Education Programmes.

For more information on any of our internships, please contact email Ros Palmer, Community Education & Volunteer Coordinator.
