This submission relates to a proposed amendment to Section 37 of the Employment Equality Acts 1998/2011. Our interest in this matter derives from our work in the area of Employment and Equality law and specifically in representing individuals, in particular employees, who have been subjected to discrimination in the workplace in respect of the nine grounds protected under the Employment Equality Acts 1998/2011 (EEA).
