In 2013, Community Law & Mediation provided services to 3,503 individuals, ranging from free legal advice and representation, free mediation, community education and mediator training.
We could not have achieved all of this without our funders and supporters: the Department of Social Protection, members of the Law Society of Ireland, the Bar Council of Ireland, Community Foundation for Ireland, MABS, Scouting Ireland, Baker Tilly Ryan & Glennon, NUI Maynooth, Dublin City Council, and private donors. We also extend our gratitude to Limerick City and County Council and the Public Interest Law Alliance, for their funding of CLM Limerick.
We must extend our thanks to all the members of Community Law & Mediation, the many mediators, solicitors and barristers who provided approximately 2,750 hours of assistance ‘pro bono publico’, to the advisory committee of CLM Limerick and to the review panel and editorial board of the online journal.
We also must thank all those who support our various fundraising events which help address the deficit in funding faced annually by Community Law & Mediation.
